Use

Garrison dress was introduced to replace Work Dress in 1985. It was a camouflage pattern jacket worn over a Service Dress shirt with a black web waist belt, and work dress trousers bloused over high paratrooper style black boots. It was removed from service in 1999.

Context

The jacket has a nametag DEROCHIE. This was Lieutenant Colonel J.E.J. Derochie. He began his career with the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Highlanders and transferred to the Lorne Scots in 1974. He was the Commanding officer of the Lorne Scots from 1985 until 1989.
