Description

The red ceremonial dress jacket of the Lancashire Fusiliers. This jacket has a white standing collar and cuffs (facings), and silver Royal Warwickshire Regiment buttons.

Use

Dress Tunic worn for ceremonial events by members of the regiment.

Context

The Lancashire Fusiliers were raised in 1689 and were the Allied regiment of the Peel and Dufferin Regiment, who became the Lorne Scots in 1936. The Lancashire Fusiliers were amalgamated into the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers in 1968. The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers are the Allied regiment of the Lorne Scots.
