Context

This is a Second World War era battle dress blouse. The epaulettes feature two stars and one crown on each side (signifying rank of colonel). Medals from left to right, top to bottom are: 1939–1945 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, War Medal 1939–1945, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal (CVSM), and Canadian Forces Decoration (CD) with rosette.
