First Southern Pacific Train Station in Los Altos, "Box Car Depot," near First Street and Main Street.
There is a gentleman sitting in the cart with the horse under the tree. He is Hans A. Jessen an orchardist/fruit farmer. He was Danish and came to the US in 1891. He was the father of Lester Jesson. In 1920, he was living on Lytton Ave (as an orchardist) in Palo Alto but is listed in the 1919 Los Altos directory.Photograph Details
