It is dark outside and the car headlights are on, leaving streaks across the photograph where the cars have driven. There are Christmas decorations along both sides of Main Street. Automobiles are parked along the sides of Main Street. Some storefronts have neon signs that are glowing in the low light. The hills can be seen in the background of the photograph. The donor states that the photograph was taken in 1959.
The marquee of the Los Altos Theater can be seen on the right side of the photograph. The two movies listed on the marquee are "They Came to Cordura" and "The Blue Angel" both premiered in 1959.
