Road signs on three stakes posted in a field, with railroad tracks in the background. These signs were probably near the intersection of the Southern Pacific tracks and El Monte Road.
There are two diamond-shaped signed posted by the California State Automobile Association, directing motorists to the following destinations: La Honda via Alpine Creek Rd., 21 miles; Mountain View, 3 miles; San Jose, 14 miles; Saratoga, 11 miles; Los Altos, 1/8 mile; San Francisco, 38 miles.
