This bridge was built across Los Gatos Creek at Main Street in 1882 and stood until it was replaced in 1906. Earlier bridges at this location had washed away, or had otherwise been destroyed. This photograph, taken when this bridge was quite new, looks east across the bridge toward Mount El Sombroso. HC012
