Located from 57 North Santa Cruz Avenue south 100 feet, the first cannery in Los Gatos, erected in 1882, ran back a full block to Lyndon Avenue. It existed in the area where the movie house stands today. In 1900, two new warehouses were added, fronting Santa Cruz Avenue, making two solid buildings through the entire block to Lyndon Avenue.
