The Los Gatos Gymkhana Association was organized in 1940 and open to all who were interested in owning and training horses. An arena was set up alongside Los Gatos Creek for horse shows and competitions. Los Gatos parades of the era featured up to 200 horses. In 1953, the Gymkhana lost the use of the land along the creek, and the organzation phased out. CAP026
