Main Street of Holy City, founded by "Father" William E. Riker (1873 - 1969). Riker purchased acerage in the Santa Cruz Mountains in order to build his utopia along the old Los Gatos - Santa Cruz Road. He built his commune using the life savings of his followers. Riker was a bigamist and a zealot who believed in white supremacy, and he was said to be an electrifying and hypnotic preacher. MTN124Subject
