The Los Gatos Gymkhana Association was organized in 1940 by individuals interested in owning and training horses. Shows and competitions were held in an arena located along Los Gatos Creek. Los Gatos parades during this period featured up to 200 horses. In 1953 use of the land along the creek was lost and the Association disbanded. The 1917 Los Gatos Baptist Church is seen in the background. It was demolished in 1958. PAR026Dimensions
