16660 Cypress Wy. Yung See San Fong House. Nestled in the hills of Los Gatos, this was the home of State Senator Sanborn Young and author Ruth Comfort Mitchell Young. The home was completed in 1917 on land given to the couple by Ruth's parents. The elaborate Chinese-styled home was painted green with Chinese Red trim. Visitors included U.S. Senator James Phelan from nearby Villa Montalvo, movie stars Joan and Constance Bennett, and President and Mrs. Herbert Hoover. BA121Collection
