Notes on the photo: "Drying plant of F.W. Crandall and Will Rice - Between Saratoga and Los Gatos." Notice the boy on the old-fashioned bicycle at left. A woman holds what looks like a laundry basket. A sign on the second horse and buggy from left appears to read "Union Market," and the man standing in front of the wagon is wearing a long white apron.
