Description

A romantic view of the Main Street Bridge through the trees. A park was established in the area under the bridge and to the south in 1897 on land donated to the town by pioneer William C. Shore. It was named Bunker Hill Park, after the battle of the American Revolution, and then renamed Memorial Park in 1920. This community park was a great source of pride for Los Gatos, and the site of many celebrations. BRG016
