In the photo, the congregation gathers for groundbreaking at the church site in 1916. Handwriting on the back of the photograph gives the following information, with "Mrs. P. O. Dickinson" listed twice: Left to right: Cecil Dickinson, Mrs. P.O. Dickinson, Axel Anderson, Mrs Wagner, Mrs. H. Dickinson, the Rev. N.L. Freeman, Mrs. Wheeler, ( little Howard boy in front ), Mrs. N. L. Freeman, Mrs. Joy, Mrs. P.O. Dickinson, horses, Hubble boy between horses, Arthur Wagner, Mary Steel and two Howard boys.
