Henry Jewett Crall (1845 - 1926) established his "Palace of Sweets" in early 1891 at 120 West Main Street. The wooden building, located in the Aram Block, also featured wooden awnings, sidewalks, and hitching posts, and was destroyed in the October 13, 1901 fire. Henry Jewett Crall was the first of four generations of the Crall family to operate businesses in Los Gatos. AD015
