TEM007cDescription
Mima Templeman is shown on a swing at her home on Broadway in 1910. Mima's childhood memories include the Carnegie Library, which stood from 1903-1954. "You had to be quiet!" Mima told Peggy Conaway, current library director. "Or you couldn't come back." She always went to the children's room in the basement, because kids were not allowed upstairs in the adult area. Mima also remembers, while growing up in the town of the cats, that the neighborhood cats would rush out to meet the fish truck when they heard its distinctive horn. TEM007cCollection
