St. Luke's Episcopal Church was founded in 1883 in Los Gatos on land donated by John Lyndon's first wife, Theresa. The first wooden church served until 1901, when it fell victim to fire. The new church, on the same property, pictured here, was constructed soon after the fire. BER010
