Description

Mima Templeman is shown here standing on Broadway in Los Gatos, in front of the home where she was born. Notice the new trees being held in place with stakes. She has many memories of her childhood in Los Gatos. At the Claravale Dairy the cows would all line up when they were called by name to be milked. She remembers when all the grocery stores had cats - they usually sat on the front counter, and were good mousers. And at Mr. Beckwith's store there was a cracker barrel that the kids could dip into for a treat. At the Hume Ranch, kids would be hired to cut apricots. TEM010b
