After Billy Jones died, and his property was to be subdivided, the Los Gatos Jaycees offered to purchase the 2-Spot and passenger cars if the town provided both a place for operations and a small subsidy for maintenance costs. The decision was made to relocate the line to Oak Meadow and neighboring Vasona parks. Here, the 2-Spot is being loaded for the short trip to its new home. JON084Collection
