Description

Mary, Lucy, and Bill Balch are dressed to perform in the June 24-25 Los Gatos pageant, "Keang Foo, the Exile." This was an elaborate production adapted by Wilbur Hall from a Chinese classic, and Henry C. Crall, home from serving in the army in France, starred as the deposed prince. Nearly 500 people comprised the cast. Members of the Chinese Delegation from San Francisco arrived "by machine" to see this show and attended dinner afterwards at the Chinese-style home of Ruth Comfort Mitchell and Sanborn Young. BAL011
