1906 Children's Corner at Carnegie LibraryEntry/Object ID
LGL003Description
In 1906, Librarian Henrianna Rankin set aside one corner of the library for children's use. This arrangement was considered so novel that it served as a model for other small libraries in the state. The basement of the building was "fitted up" as a children's room in 1919, allowing expansion room for the library's growing collection of books. LGL003Collection
