Vincent (1888-1965) and Mary Marengo (1887-1974) are shown at the gatehouse, below "The Cats" main house. They worked for C.E.S. Wood and Sara Bard Field for many years and lived at the gatehouse. Mary was cook and housekeeper; Vincent grew grapes and maintained the estate. Vincent and Mary were married at "The Cats" in 1931. MAR013Collection
