A view of the Alma automobile bridge which once spanned Los Gatos Creek providing access to the towns of Lexington and Alma. Since 1952 when Lenihan Dam was built the Los Gatos Creek, Alma Bridge and both towns became submerged by the rising water of Lexington Reservoir. The right-of-way of the South Pacific Coast (S.P.C.) and later the Southern Pacific (S.P.) railroad which ran adjacent to both towns also became became submerged. LEI049Collection
