Members of the German colony at Wrights Station, building the road to the Austrian Gulch dam. Construction on the dam was complete in 1950, many years after Wright's Station became a ghost town. Below the reservoir are the remains of Austrian Gulch and Germantown settlements. The dam is more than 900 feet long and 180 feet high. MTN018Collection
