RES023Description
H. J. Crall lived here from 1898 to 1908. Wesley Peck was an early owner of this home. (Number 62 had a duplicate floor plan.) In the late 1920s the home was purchased by C. Wood. Mrs. Wood ran it as a boarding house. One of her boarders was Ruth Rigby, teacher and librarian. It has been reported that dinners cost the boarders 50 cents. Peter Buckner converted the home into two apartments sometime in the 1940s, probably after 1946. Owners in 1976 were Daniel and Jean Krag when the house was awarded a Bellringer plaque.
