Description

Built in 1887 by the builder Hildebrand as part of the property known first as Oak Hill. In 1906 Mr. and Mrs. Mobeus won the house in a raffle held at the Lyndon Hotel. In 1939 Campbell McGregor bought the house for a group of travelling Gilbert & Sullivan players. McGregor, a frequent visitor to the Florentine Village restaurant at 42 Central, offered to sell the house to the Boccis, and they accepted. RES034
