Built about 1895 for Capt. Wm. Brown. Bought by Edward Loftus, a retired British diplomat, in 1935 and subsequently lived in by his son, Reginald and his wife, Claire, until 1952. Known for its English gardens, particularly roses. This home was a Bellringer Award recipient in 1976 and on the the Los Gatos Museums Historic Homes Tour in 1993. RES041Collection
