Description

James C. Crosby bought this land in 1888 and in 1891 sold a house and water tower on the property to Mary Pierce. Some of the masonry was from the same quarry that provided blocks of stone to build Stanford University. Duane and Denise Billheimer received a Bellringer award for this property in 1987. In 1989 the house sustained severe earthquake damage. In 1992 and 1993 this house was featured on the Los Gatos Museums Historic Homes Tour. RES185; RES186; RES187
