RES340Description
This home was constructed in 1888, the second home in the Almond Grove addition. The builder and owner was E. E. Place, owner of the funeral parlor. His son, George, was born in this house in 1888 and lived there with his parents until he married in 1915. At one time the house had a stable and tank house (well) in the back yard. Neighbors would come over for the fresh water. The house was designated a Bellringer in 1987. RES340Collection
