Melville Dalton Shore (1898 - 1946) was a talented local artist who contributed much to the community. Shore worked at Los Gatos Hardware for many years, where he designed and created Christmas windows of note. He headed up the decorating committee for the 1937 Golden Jubilee Celebration.
