Left to right; Mayor Lincoln, Beth Butler, Alice Shore, Elizabeth Herd, Patty Evans, Xandra Coorengel, Debbie Blatnick, Audreyanne Shuman, and Denise Fox. Representing ten groups, 125 Blue Birds and Camp Fire Girls participated in the planting and opening ceremonies. Jim Sugai, Los Gatos town gardener, prepared and supervised the plantings as each group placed a glass jar with their names inside beneath the trees.
