OPPS31Description
A Heckler & Koch MP5A3 gun with extended stock from John McTiernan's Die Hard. Hans Gruber's (Alan Rickman) crew carried and wielded their submachine guns against their hostages and John McClane (Bruce Willis). Stunt guns like these were mostly used when the actors were running or strapped to their backs. This lot originated from prop master Mike Papac's collection. It consists of one static black rubber weapon with a black nylon strap that was modelled after a gun modified specifically for the first Die Hard film. It features the lower receiver of an MP5, an HK94 upper receiver, and is stamped with the models on their respective parts. Additionally, it features a cut down barrel and an extended stock. Also included is the original receipt of purchase from Stembridge Gun Rentals, and a sling. This lot exhibits a missing trigger guard and trigger, and a buildup of grime in the crevices. Dimensions: 66 cm x 6 cm x 25 cm (26" x 2.25" x 9.75) Restricted ownership; see replica firearm notice in the Buyer's Guide.Use
