Rita Vrataski's (Emily Blunt) sword from Doug Liman's Edge of Tomorrow. Vrataski, the "Angel of Verdun," carried her sword on the battlefield during Major William Cage's (Tom Cruise) first day of combat and became the poster girl for the war, frequently pictured with the unique weapon of choice. The weapon is made of a black-painted urethane in the shape of a helicopter tail rotor blade with foil fixed along the narrow edge of the blade to resemble sharpened metal and has a serial number "2321.S514476-35/UN" stenciled down one side with "POS 53". Additionally, the end of the blade features a red stripe to simulate an abrasion strip. Its hilt is wrapped in black electrical tape with a faux steel guard and pommel on either end. A distressed UDF sticker near the hilt includes information on the fictional vehicle the blade originated from. Production intentionally distressed this weapon to appear well-used in battle with grime, chips in the foil made to simulate nicking, and scuffing on the electrical tape.
