Description

Rita Vrataski's (Emily Blunt) sword from Doug Liman's Edge of Tomorrow. Vrataski, the "Angel of Verdun," carried her sword on the battlefield during Major William Cage's (Tom Cruise) first day of combat and became the poster girl for the war, frequently pictured with the unique weapon of choice. Production utilised blades such as this during scenes where they used CGI, such as on the battlefield against the Mimics . This half-blade is made of foam with a rigid top coat painted predominately black. It has a resin handle wrapped with black electrical tape, painted black with silver-colour applied on top to appear metallic. This lot exhibits pitting in the blade and chipped paint. Dimensions: 62.25 cm x 15.25 cm x 5 cm (24.5" x 6" x 2")
