Description

Captain Barbossa's (Geoffrey Rush) hat from Gore Verbinski's Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy. Barbossa wore his signature hat throughout the first three films, first as he sought to end the curse of Cortes' stolen Aztec gold, and then later as he teamed with Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) to free Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) from Davy Jones' Locker. This large felt hat is accented with black and brown feathers and a faux leather hat band. The edges were intentionally distressed to appear aged and well-worn. This hat is accompanied by a still of Barbosa autographed in black ink by actor Geoffrey Rush. This lot exhibits frayed fibers on the feathers. Dimensions: (photo) 8" x 10" (20.5 cm x 25.5 cm)
