Jack Sparrow's (Johnny Depp) stunt compass from Gore Verbinski's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Jack Sparrow's compass, which had the magical ability to point, not north, but to "the thing you want most in this world," was instrumental in leading Jack and his crew to the Isla de Muerta in an attempt to rescue Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley). It was used once more for a similar purpose to save Will (Orlando Bloom) from Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) afterwards. The compass remained with Jack as he set sail on a new course with the Black Pearl. This black cast rubber compass features gold-color decorative striping throughout and is attached to a leather strap via a metal loop embedded in the rubber. The compass is cast as a single piece, unable to be opened. It exhibits cracking and flaking throughout. Dimensions: 4.5" x 3.5" x 1.5" (11.5 cm x 9 cm x 4 cm)
