Description

A pair of gold-pressed latinum bars from the series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Latinum was a rare silver-color liquid metal used as currency by the Ferengi and Cardassians, among others, and it was often pressed with gold into solid bars. Latinum bars were also used in the series Star Trek: The Next Generation. These heavy bars are made of solid metal and colored gold. Metal bars from production are significantly rarer than the more commonly found resin bars. They exhibit some wear from use and age, including discoloration and spotting. Dimensions: (each) 3.75" x 1.75" x 0.5" (9.5 cm x 4.5 cm x 1 cm)
