A Klingon "Death Sting" disruptor pistol from William Shatner's Star Trek V: The Final Frontier and the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation. Klingons often armed themselves with unique disruptor pistols as their primary weapon. Made for Robert Wise's The Motion Picture, this disruptor pistol was repainted and modified with additional components, as well as Klingon symbols, after production. "Death Sting" was a colloquialism used to describe this rarer variant of the Klingon disruptor. A weapon like this can be seen in The Next Generation episode "The Icarus Factor." Originally assembled for the production using parts from toy guns, this disruptor pistol features a long, machined metal barrel with a wood body and cast resin details. It is painted in shades of black and orange with metallic colour Klingon symbols along the side. This lot exhibits chipped paint and discolouration.
