Star Wars (TCF, 1977), "R2-D2" Model And Photographs Of Kenny Baker With The Model. Reproduction model of the Astromech Droid unit, signed twice in black ink by actor Kenny Baker who played the role in the first seven installments of the Star Wars film franchise. Measuring 45.5" x 28.5" x 34" overall, the freestanding model of wood and fiberglass construction, finished in white and blue with deliberate weathering in paint details. The three legs with caster wheel to the front and tired wheels to the two back legs. The model with wiring for light-up and sound effects. Signed by actor Kenny Baker (R2-D2) in black ink to the front of the body, and again to the rear of the dome. Together with a framed display measuring 21" x 24", containing six printed color photographs showing Kenny Baker posing with and signing the present model. Exhibits minor wear to the exterior, the domed 'head' slightly loose on body, and is removable for access and transport.
