Star Wars: A New Hope (1977) Complete "The Star Wars" Bound First Draft Studio Copy ScriptEntry/Object ID
AWPS10Description
A complete bound first draft script copy for George Lucas' Star Wars: A New Hope. Dated "July 1974", this 146-page screenplay bears the original title "The Star Wars", and is the first revision to the rough draft completed only months earlier. A studio copy script is a copy made at the studio to hold in their library, keeping a clean copy away from the wear that inevitably befalls scripts used during production. Bound with a red plastic front and back cover, this studio copy offers remarkable insight into the creation of the beloved first film in this hugely successful saga. It includes many character names and locations, which were omitted in the second draft, titled "Adventures of the Starkiller, Episode I: The Star Wars". Dimensions: 8.5" x 11" x 0.75" (22 cm x 28 cm x 2 cm)Type of Print
