An original sketch of The Emperor for the Star Wars brand guide for Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (Lucasfilm, Ltd., 1983) with various prints, copies, and mock-up (also for the brand guide). The sketch is executed in pencil on tracing paper and features a handwritten comment that reads: "looking good! Mouth a little wider and downturned" and "ref #8026." Also included are various prints, copies, and mock-ups for Galactic Empire characters. The prints include: a size comparison chart for 13 Return of the Jedi characters, one print of the Emperor, three prints of a Biker Scout (one with marker and white-out additions and one that has been cut out and pasted onto a separate sheet of paper), and four prints of a Galactic Emperor's Guard (one of which is a larger size than the others and one of which includes pantone color swatches). Additionally, there is a mock-up for Darth Vader, which features Vader flanked by four Galactic Emperor's Guards pasted to a background and one copy of the image with copied notes about color, and one copy of an image of Luke Skywalker and Vader fighting (the copies are folded).Type of Print
