Star Wars ROTJ Stormtrooper 77-Back B, AFA Y-80+ ** POP 3, Highest Grade ** (Kenner, 1984). A staple of the original trilogy and a symbol of Imperial might, the classic Stormtrooper figure received several subtle updates throughout Kenner's run. This 1984 release comes on the Return of the Jedi 77-Back B card and features the seldom-seen "Taped Blaster" variant, where the figure's E-11 rifle was secured inside the bubble with a small piece of factory tape, a packaging method used briefly during this production cycle. Graded AFA 80+ Y-NM, with subgrades of C80 B85 F80, this figure is one of only three examples on record at this level, and none have graded higher, making it a population-best specimen. A unique twist on one of the most iconic figures in the Kenner line, this taped-blaster Stormtrooper bridges packaging rarity and display appeal-an essential upgrade for variant hunters and a cornerstone piece for collectors building a definitive ROTJ lineup.
