Description

Star Wars ESB Bespin Security Guard (Black) 47-Back, AFA Y-80 (Kenner, 1982). One of the lesser-seen heroes of Cloud City, the Bespin Security Guard stood watch over the corridors of Lando Calrissian's floating metropolis. Released in 1982 on the Empire Strikes Back 47-Back card, this version featured the African-American guard variant with a navy uniform, gold trim, and blue blaster. Graded AFA 80 Y-NM, with subgrades of C80 B85 F85, this specimen remains factory sealed and features the full 47-figure lineup on the back, marking the closing stretch of the ESB series. Though often overlooked, the black Bespin Guard has become increasingly appreciated by modern collectors for both its character legacy and production significance. This high-grade example offers strong display presence and rarity appeal-an ideal addition for anyone building a complete ESB or Cloud City collection.
