Description

Star Wars ESB Bespin Security Guard (Both Versions) & Lobot Lot of 3 (Kenner, 1980-82). The Bespin Security Guards and Lobot represent the human side of Cloud City's story in The Empire Strikes Back, grounding the film's pivotal betrayal sequence in characters who embody the everyday life of Lando Calrissian's floating metropolis. The Bespin Security Guard (white), released in 1980 on a 32-Back A, and the Bespin Security Guard (black), issued in 1982 on a 41-Back B featuring the Free Revenge of the Jedi Admiral Ackbar promotion, illustrate Kenner's character and cardback evolution across the ESB line. Lobot, released in 1980 on a 48-Back C, remains one of the trilogy's most memorable supporting figures, his calm precision and understated loyalty securing his place as a fan favorite. All packages in the lot show significant wear consistent with handling and long-term storage. The card edges display heavy scuffing and dents, and the corners are notably softened. The card faces show extensive scuffing, creasing, and veining. All figures remain sealed on card, and while the bubbles show mild surface scuffing, each has yellowed to varying degrees. Together, these three ESB releases offer a focused look at Cloud City's key background characters across multiple card programs. For collectors building a comprehensive Empire display or assembling representative examples of early '80s cardback variation, this trio provides a character-rich snapshot of vintage Star Wars world-building.
