Description

Star Wars ESB R2-D2 (with Sensorscope) 45-Back A AFA 80 (Kenner, 1981). An updated version of the galaxy's most beloved astromech, this Empire Strikes Back R2-D2 features the retractable sensorscope accessory first seen during his reconnaissance mission on Dagobah. Released in 1981 on the 45-Back A card, this figure brought new playability to the original sculpt while keeping the charm of the early Kenner design intact. Graded AFA 80 Y-NM with subgrades of C80 B85 F80, this example remains a clean, high-grade specimen with strong overall presentation. A great addition for R2-D2 character collectors, ESB cardback enthusiasts, or anyone seeking key figure updates from Kenner's second film wave.
