CAFH119Description
Star Wars ESB Rebel Commander 41-Back A, AFA 75+ (Kenner, 1980). Issued in the second Empire Strikes Back wave, the Rebel Commander put a human face on Echo Base's frigid trench line-complete with Hoth parka, blaster rifle, and the steely resolve that stalled the Imperial advance. This example retains the short-lived 41-figure card festooned with the mail-away "Action Figure Survival Kit" banner, an early promotion that vanished once Kenner cycled in later offers. Graded AFA 75+ EX+/NM with subgrades of C75 B80 F85. With a combination of early ESB checklist and seldom-seen Survival Kit burst, this piece fills a key slot for Hoth or mail-offer specialists-ready to take its place on the front lines of any vintage Star Wars display.Use
