Star Wars ESB Sand People 45-Back AFA 75 (Kenner, 1981). Transferring seamlessly from the original Star Wars line into The Empire Strikes Back packaging, the Sand People (later known as Tusken Raiders) retained their iconic desert-worn look with a flowing vinyl cape and gaffi stick accessory. Issued here on the 45-Back card in 1981, this version marked a transitional moment in Kenner's marketing as classic characters were carried forward into the next chapter of the saga. This example is graded AFA 75 EX+/NM, with subgrades of C80 B75 F85. A solid mid-grade offering of a classic character on early ESB packaging, this Sand People figure bridges A New Hope roots with Empire era branding-perfect for collectors expanding their original trilogy lineup or building out a Tatooine-themed display.Use
