Description

Star Wars ESB Stormtrooper 48-Back C AFA Y80 (Kenner, 1982). By 1982, Kenner's Empire Strikes Back line had fully cemented the Stormtrooper as one of the most enduring symbols of Imperial might. This release on the 48-Back C card maintained the clean, iconic sculpt first introduced in 1978 - a minimalist yet powerful design that captured the faceless precision of the Galactic Empire. Though unchanged from the original Star Wars figure, its presence on Empire-branded packaging represents the continuity and timeless appeal that defined the Kenner line through the trilogy's evolution. Graded AFA Y-NM 80, with subgrades of C75 B80 F80, this example displays a lightly yellowed bubble with balanced overall condition and strong visual presentation. A foundational piece in any vintage Star Wars collection, the Stormtrooper remains one of the most recognizable and collectible figures of the era - a stark white sentinel of cinematic history whose legacy continues to march on.
