Description

A screen-matched Resistance Pilot helmet worn by Tosin Cole as Lieutenant Bastian (aka "Red Four") in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Disney, 2015). Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity on Lucasfilm letterhead, dated April 30, 2025, and signed by the President & General Manager of Lucasfilm Business, Lynwen Brennan. The letter states that this item is 100% genuine and certified by Lucasfilm and identifies it as an original prop from The Force Awakens that was made by production artists at Pinewood Studios in the United Kingdom for use in the film. The cast resin helmet features a yellow translucent plastic eye guard and a retractable eye shield, applique labels throughout including a Rebel Alliance emblem over the proper right ear and a call sign emblem specific to Lieutenant Bastian on the eye shied, as well as production-distressing throughout. Inside of the helmet contains foam padding, as well as an adhered label with handwriting that reads, "50. PIRATE PILOT #2." Please note, on close inspection there appears to be bespeckled imprints throughout the helmet that are a part of prior protective packing material from when the helmet was in previous storage. Lieutenant Bastian was a member of the team of X-Wing fighter pilots known as Red Squadron that was led by Commander Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac). Red Squadron was the battalion that executed the attack on Starkiller Base, along with Blue Squadron, that served as the climactic final battle of the film
